Choosing The Right LED Sign

Viewing Distance

  • Short viewing distances generally suit tighter pixel pitch and clearer detail.
  • Longer roadside or building-front viewing can use larger formats with strong brightness.
  • Share site photos and approximate distances so Polycomp can recommend a practical option.

Indoor Or Outdoor

  • Indoor displays prioritise close-range readability and clean presentation.
  • Outdoor signs need weather-ready cabinets, brightness and service access.
  • VMS trailers suit temporary traffic, event and mobile message requirements.

Hire, Purchase And Support

  • Hire can suit short-term traffic, events and project work.
  • Purchase is usually better for permanent school, retail, industrial or public displays.
  • Ask about installation, training, stocked parts, warranty, servicing and repair options.
